6 tips for smooth landscaping ideas

Here are six tips to achieve a smooth landscaping ideas for your home.

1. Analyze the ground

Before the landscaping itself, it must observe its field: how are the slopes, the flow of water, prevailing winds, sunshine, north, driveways, areas electrical facilities, stairs and well.

2. Deciding what to hide and what to highlight

The landscaping must be built around existing elements. Is there a shed, a cord of wood, a neighbor or other elements of our surroundings we would hide? In contrast, what do we want to highlight? The house, a tree, a statue or another point of attraction.

3. Identify areas, like the environment of the house

By designing your landscaping, compare your site to your house and divide it into three zones, or more if necessary. These areas correspond to parts of the house. Each of these areas should be a main attraction and a certain extent free from any side lawn attractive object.

4. Public area: the vestibule is the part at the front of the house. It must be developed and ornamented so as to leave an impression of good taste, cleanliness and hospitality. This area is almost public, and should be as simple as possible. Plantations along the lawn and walkways must converge toward the door to attract attention. 

 

5. Service area: the workroom often located near the garage. It contains the shed, clothesline, compost, garden, shed, cellar entrance and storage area. It can be mailed to two or three places on the ground, but it is easier to focus on a single point. This is probably the most difficult to treat because this area is very heterogeneous. A screen can be used to hide a part.

6. Children's room: the dining room, and games room located at the rear, in a comfortable place in private. This area often takes the form of a roundabout which gives access to other areas. One can find a patio, pool or other decorative elements such as a pond, a statue, a rock or a tree with a shady bench. If you want to divide it into sub-sections, each will have its own appeal points.
